The young Ethiopian producer Mikael Seifu, who I wrote about last summer, has a new release out on 1432r in the summer.
When I last wrote about him I was restrained in my praise of the newer production. However, a year on he has delivered something that adeptly samples from the Ethiopian musical tradition and has nods to some of the European electronic artist Seifu is influenced by.
